Also, Winn-Dixie is a beautiful story, I agree, Betsy, & I have the Mentor Texts book-just great. Lots of agreement from me on this post! I have a granddog named George-I think I will look that one up. He's a big & loving part of the family too!Betsyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10492340502962987362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4042407720611831077.post-63154956742482155302012-06-13T19:31:21.798-04:002012-06-13T19:31:21.798-04:00Jen Vincent • 4 weeks ago I got to hear Ralph Flet...Jen Vincent • 4 weeks ago
I got to hear Ralph Fletcher speak at a district presentation a few years ago. I was ecstatic...I went up on stage during a break and took my picture with him. I was surprised people weren't more excited to see him. He has done great work for teaching writing, and he's just a nice guy. I also love Winn-Dixie. Kate has crafted some great books. :)

Hannahlily • 4 weeks ago
Oh, I adore Because of Winn Dixie. I need to read it again. Such great characters. Oh no George! Is really funny. A great picture book. That was a good idea to use it while teaching story elements.Betsyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10492340502962987362noreply@blogger.com
