For whatever reason, I got the Candyman song in my head as I read it...the honey man can! :) I liked the line where you said he made the drop...it creates visions of him sneaking up to your doorstep in the dark, dropping it on your porch and ringing the doorbell as he sneaks back into the darkness. You told the story with some terrific lines of anxious moments, like 'speed-dialing' and making do with the other honey, but just for the kids. I have been given some honey from a student whose family keeps bees. It has an unusual flavor & is as much tangy as sweet. I was waiting for you to tell what kind you prefer. We sometimes look for lavendar honey, but mostly just buy the usual from a local honey farm-very good but not so flavorful.Linda at teacherdancehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14983144542632353870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4042407720611831077.post-17993606132511319822012-03-07T22:04:40.363-05:002012-03-07T22:04:40.363-05:00Local honey? That's all I've ever known. Maybe I'll have to check out the honey guy at the farmer's market.elsiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01348895330633879894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4042407720611831077.post-76142099604311618192012-03-07T06:32:59.209-05:002012-03-07T06:32:59.209-05:00We all have special foods.
