There is Always Hope

I was on Facebook tonight and came across a video of a child with autism who also happens to be blind singing the National Anthem. I thought, how awesome, what a great opportunity for this special little girl. Then I watched it. Then I listened. Then I teared up. It reminded me that there is hope for every child. That even when our toughest student, or our own child, is up against obstacles they can amaze us. There is hope for every child. We just have to believe in them and they will lead us to their talent. Their WILL to share what they have to offer the world overcomes their disabilities. We just have to believe.

  4. That was amazing! Thanks for sharing and thanks for a great reminder. All children have something to offer, sometimes it just takes longer to help them find it than others.
