Yay for first days! (We had ours today, too.) Did you have many criers? I'm sure you were the object of many a dinner-table conversation this evening! ;) Good luck getting through the rest of the week.
The first day (and the second by now) behind you and the year is rolling on in full speed. We may make grand plans and envision the future but we will still live it day by day. I hope your foot feels better.
Each day will get easier. It's a good thing when they all get home safely. Rest and repeat :-)
ReplyDeleteBetsy,
ReplyDeleteI so admire anyone who teachers the youngest! I also agree with Elsie, rest and then let's do it again tomorrow!
The first day can be tough with little ones, but everyone getting home is good news! A great start to the year . . . keep chugging along!
ReplyDeleteThe first day back is always so hard. Take it one day at a time.

ReplyDeleteI think you could call it brave new world, too! Congrats on the finish & staying up past eight. Best for tomorrow too!
ReplyDeleteI need to keep Everyone's advice in mind too! One day at a time! Hope you have a great school year Betsy!

ReplyDeleteMy first day with preschoolers is next week. I'm sure I'll be in the same place you are Tuesday night!
