Snow!

I am celebrating snow. I know, who does that? I wouldn't have thought of myself as a celebrator of snow but now I can add it to my list. I went snowshoeing for the first time today and really enjoyed it. I went by myself and trecked on a trail at a local park. I know I want to go again. I could hear birds and wind. The trees were beautiful and they made a crackling sound as the tops of them clanged together. It was an almost silent celebration.

  2. I, too, saw your invitation on Facebook, Betsy - and then off you went. It looks like a magical walk. My husband and I just gifted each other snowshoes, and now I can't wait to get started.

  3. Betsy, I've always wanted to go snowshoeing... someday I'll head to our mountains with some adventurous friends who promise to go slow.
I love the view of the trail and the trees... and then your feet!

  6. Amazing! I have never tried snowshoeing, but we definitely have enough snow to do that ( and more coming). I celebrated snow today as well!

  7. Betsy,

I'm not sure if you remember me from All Write, but I've finally joined the blogging world, and I was so excited to see you on here.

I love your post. I enjoy doing things alone that may initially seem like something you would do with others. My favorite is going to the movies solo. It's kind of liberating.

We have snow coming my way- hopefully you do too so you can enjoy some more snowshoeing.

I'm glad I found you online. I look forward to reading more from you.

  9. Snow. We haven't had sow yet this year and it feels odd. Last year it snowed in October and it stayed till the end of March. I miss snow. Thank you for the pictures.

  10. I love snow. Hoping for some more tonight!! (Shhhh...I didn't say that out loud...) My #nerdlution walk in the early morning almost always lets me be the first to make tracks in new snow. I love writing those first foot-words.
