day six today
a lot has been done
images made
writing completed
reading underway
with more to do
while the house falls apart
I walk through the piles
no one at fault
just life happening around me
energy bursts
then ceases
I guess I'll go back to sipping my Sprite.
Oh I'm so sorry you've been sick! I can relate to your piles and the chaos surrounding, although thankfully not sick! I wrote in my slice today about being on spring break giving me the opportunity to see all the things I need to do but usually ignore when I'm busy working. Been trying to attack some of those "to do's today. Hope you feel better soon and enjoy your sprite! Thanks again for your help earlier.

ReplyDeleteTake it slow and sleep and sleep and sleep! I had this two weeks ago and I tried to work in the little energy burst and then lost it. I just sleep and read. Oh and drink sprite.

ReplyDeleteBetsy, I totally understand the feeling. The stomach bug infected our house last week and Easter was a most unusual one. Your poem captured the moment. I hope you are refreshed and renewed soon. There is nothing like being on the other side of "sickness".
