Here she goes, final product. Saige finished her story about the circus.
I am amazed at how she has inspired other students to write more and work harder. Peers can impact instruction in ways we just don't realize until it happens.
I love this!
Oh, and if you missed Saige's planning process, view it here!

How wonderful is she?! I love the wait at the beginning to make sure you're ready and how she points out the words and repeats after you. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful story inside and out! I feel her pride. It is contagious. Thanks for sharing this very intimate view into your classroom and Saige's writing process. She is a writer!
ReplyDeleteShe is such a little rock star! I love this video series and I'd like to sign up to have her read this book to my class! I'm proud for her!
ReplyDeleteWow!!! What a great story about the circus, and I love all the details she shared about her special day. Thanks for sharing this with us. It's neat to get a glimpse into your classroom. Thumbs up!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Robin! Saige really is a rock star! Somehow, I missed the planning video, so of course I had to watch it today. This is a huge project for a kindergartener. It's amazing that she can tell the story and remember it long enough to get it written down! Wow, wow, wow! I love hearing how you support her too. Every writer deserves such an appreciative and encouraging audience!
