Little Hands...Big Difference!

This is what I have to look forward to today. Little hands, doing little work that makes a big difference!

Teamwork
Our "100 Days of School" puzzle was knocked down accidentally by an entirely different student. To which one student in the photo replied, "I'll help fix it, that happened to me once." Then two more friends decided to join him and spent over 30 minutes of their playtime working to get the that darn puzzle finished. I finally told them to take a break and go play! Their perseverance was amazing!

Creativity
I just thought this was the coolest thing! My students build the most amazing structures everyday; I hate clean-up time too! They don't really mind though. They know they can do it all over again the next day!

Helpers
His job this week is "table washer." When I told him I needed his help with the tables he asked, "can I clean some chairs too?" Absolutely, have at it!!!

  5. Aww! I am always reminded how similar my 8th graders are to the kindergartners I used to work with. Kids are kids, wherever they are. I love the pics.
