This is what I have to look forward to today. Little hands, doing little work that makes a big difference!
Teamwork
Our "100 Days of School" puzzle was knocked down accidentally by an entirely different student. To which one student in the photo replied, "I'll help fix it, that happened to me once." Then two more friends decided to join him and spent over 30 minutes of their playtime working to get the that darn puzzle finished. I finally told them to take a break and go play! Their perseverance was amazing!
Creativity
I just thought this was the coolest thing! My students build the most amazing structures everyday; I hate clean-up time too! They don't really mind though. They know they can do it all over again the next day!Helpers
His job this week is "table washer." When I told him I needed his help with the tables he asked, "can I clean some chairs too?" Absolutely, have at it!!!
How adorable! Thanks for sharing your "little hands". These are the moments to remember when you encounter the difficult times. Your slice made me SMILE!
ReplyDeleteOh those little hands can do so much! What a sweet glimpse into the caring hearts of your class. They have an awesome role model to follow!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet slice! I enjoyed the pictures and the thoughtful way you appreciate you students. It's easy to see how much you value these special moments.
ReplyDeleteI love that little hands can and do make a big difference! Thanks for highlighting their immeasurable value!
ReplyDeleteAww! I am always reminded how similar my 8th graders are to the kindergartners I used to work with. Kids are kids, wherever they are. I love the pics.
